Foster a Rottweiler

The health, living environment and socialization of my Rottweilers is my number one priority. I am not your average breeder. My dogs reside in foster homes within a 80 mile radius. So they get plenty of attention and socialization everyday. Our dogs live with families as their pet when they are not in season or whelping. This enables our dogs to be both a pet and a parent. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent please fill free to fill out my Foster Application; I will review it & be in touch with you!

All of our breeding females retire on or before the age of 7 or after 5 litters. At that time they retire to their forever foster home to live a pet life. From time to time we have retirees available, but for the most part our dogs are claimed before they are ever 1 year old.

Please understand that throughout a foster’s time in our program they are required to make multiple trips to and from my home. These trips may be for breeding, health testing or other various reasons. By fostering a Rottweiler from me, you understand that you are required to provide transportation to and from my house. I also may choose to take the dog to participate in some dog shows. That will include me taking the dog for the weekend and returning the dog within a couple of days after the dog show.

Most of the puppies available are 6 months old, they have been crate trained, and have been attending doggie daycare since they were 3 months old. They have some basic obedience and have been very well socialized with people and dogs. They are up to date on all vaccines, deworming, heart worm, and flea preventative.

Being a foster parent means you will be responsible for feeding the dog one of the recommended diets and supplements. Making sure the dog remains well socialized with other dogs and most importantly is friendly with people. The dog must be on heart worm and flea preventative as well as up to date on vaccines. If I choose to show the dog in some dog shows I will teach you how to train the dog to stand in a show.
